Before leaving

Check access, restrictions and required waste arrangements. Pack containers that close securely and bring the supplies you need to leave the pitch clean. Visit the original Leave No Trace principles for the full outdoor-ethics framework.
When setting up

Use the designated pitch and paths. Fit your equipment into the available space instead of clearing vegetation or altering the ground. Confirm where drinking water, washing and waste facilities are located.

A final walk around catches the small things.
During the stay

Keep wildlife at an appropriate distance, store food as required and leave natural objects where you found them. Manage lights, noise and pets with other visitors in mind. Check fire rules before considering any flame.
Before driving away
Walk the pitch slowly. Collect small litter and your equipment, handle waste at the proper facilities and report any unresolved problem to staff. Leave the next camper a usable place to arrive.
